2007 Silent Auction

Stepping Out Competition Teams are hosting a silent auction to benefit the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter which provides emergency shelter for children in need.  Stepping Out has held this event for many years as part of our “children helping children” emphasis.  A very important part of this event is our dance teams have the opportunity to perform their competitive routines on stage before taking them to competition. The auction will be held at Lake Murray Elementary School, 205 Wise Ferry Road, on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.  Desserts and coffee will be served.  Tickets are $5.00 each.  Click here for order form.

Holiday Open House
December 11 – 14, 2006
During Regular Class Times

The week of December 11-14 will be a special time for parents to watch your child’s dance class, take some pictures, and have holiday refreshments.  Each student is asked to bring a $5.00 gift with their name attached.  We will exchange gifts during class. 

Company members may bring a $5.00 donation for the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter instead of exchanging gifts.  If you wish to participate in the gift exchange in a non-company class, bring a $5.00 gift for that class. 
    
Company classes will continue their regular class work and entertain visitors with their competition routines the last 10 minutes of class.  Visitors are invited to have refreshments during the first part of class.

Lexington Christmas Parade
Sunday, December 3, 2006
3:30 pm

The Lexington Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 3.  All Participants will wear the new Stepping Out blue tee shirt over a long sleeve white shirt and blue jeans.  Stepping Out will provide red scarves for use in the parade.  Time and parade line-up number will be posted in the studio as soon as the information is available.  Younger students will ride in an open vehicle and older students will walk and dance.  A special dance combination will be taught during November classes.  If you plan to participate in the parade, please sign up in the studio lobby ASAP.  We will need parents to assist during the parade.
